Broccoli Seeds

Fairbanks has a broad range of broccoli genetics, which comes from Syngenta Vegetable seeds. This fantastic portfolio caters for all seasons and markets within New Zealand. The range has a major focus on the traditional broccoli head market, but recently a sweet baby bunching variety called ‘Matrix’ has been added to the range to supply the increasing bunching broccoli market.

Many brassica crops are affected by Club root, including broccoli. Syngenta has developed a broccoli variety to combat this problem with a high level of Club root resistance, containing a gene known as known as TopRes™. This exciting development caters for the many growers that have concerns with Club root. ‘McLaren’ is the Syngenta broccoli with TopRes resistance, it is also a very adaptable variety with a broad harvest window.
